Nexterix (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates Trucker'sCall(also referred to as “TruckersCall”), encompassing our dispatch web application, cloud services, and mobile applications for Android and iOS (collectively, the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, process, and protect your information when you access or use the Trucker'sCall platform. We are committed to transparency and upholding the highest standards of data security, user privacy, and compliance with platform policies including the Google Play Developer Program Policies.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that is strictly necessary to provide fleet dispatch, vehicle monitoring, route navigation, and delivery verification services:

• Account & Profile Credentials: Enterprise-managed driver profiles, including driver full name, email address, assigned vehicle identifier, and secure 4-digit PIN authentication tokens.
• Location Data (Precise & Approximate): Real-time GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, speed, and heading) collected from the mobile device to enable route navigation, trip status calculation, and fleet visibility.
• Proof of Delivery (Camera & Images): Photographs of cargo, shipping manifests, bills of lading, and recipient digital signatures captured via the mobile app during stop completion.
• Device & Diagnostics Data: Network connection status, operating system version, and system diagnostic logs to ensure reliable synchronization during offline or low-connectivity transit.

3. Location Data & Background Tracking (Prominent Disclosure)

Trucker'sCall requires location access to support critical logistics and fleet coordination features.

Driver Control & Transparency:

• Location tracking only runs while a driver is signed in and has tracking toggled on or is assigned to an active trip.
• Whenever background location is active, an ongoing persistent notification is displayed in the Android system notification tray clearly indicating that location tracking is active.
• Drivers retain full control and can pause or stop location tracking at any time directly through the in-app Profile switch or by signing out of the application.
• Location information is never used for third-party advertising or consumer profiling.

4. Camera & Photo Library Access

The Trucker'sCall mobile app requests access to your device camera and photo library exclusively for:

• Capturing photographic Proof of Delivery (POD) upon delivery of shipments at designated stops.
• Photographing damaged freight, delivery receipts, or document paperwork required by fleet dispatchers.

Camera access is triggered solely when you explicitly tap the photo capture or attachment button within a job stop. We do not access, scan, or retrieve any unselected photos or personal albums.

5. How We Use Information

We process information collected to:

• Provide real-time dispatch visibility between fleet operators and drivers.
• Display live route progress and turn-by-turn navigation via integrated map services.
• Verify order fulfillment through captured signatures and delivery photos.
• Send dispatch notifications regarding load assignments, schedule changes, or safety alerts.
• Diagnose operational sync issues and improve platform reliability and performance.

6. Third-Party Services & Infrastructure

To provide reliable cloud infrastructure and navigation, we integrate with trusted enterprise providers who adhere to strict data security standards:

• Supabase: Secure cloud database, authentication, and encrypted data storage.
• Mapbox: Vector maps, turn-by-turn route calculation, and geolocation rendering.
• Expo / EAS: Mobile runtime framework, secure over-the-air updates, and push notification transport.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or location data to any third parties or advertising networks.

7. Data Security & Storage

We implement comprehensive technical and organizational safeguards to ensure your data is protected against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration:

• All data in transit is encrypted using modern cryptographic protocols (HTTPS / TLS 1.3).
• Authentication tokens are stored locally on the device using hardware-backed secure storage (SecureStore / Keystore).
• Database records are protected by fine-grained Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring drivers only access authorized assignments.

8. Data Retention & Account Deletion Policy

In accordance with Google Play and Apple data safety policies, users and organizations have the right to request deletion of their account and associated data:

• Account Deletion Requests: Drivers or fleet operators can submit an account and data deletion request at any time by emailing us at privacy@truckerscall.com or support@nexterix.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and their driver ID or registered email.
• Data Processing & Purging: Upon identity verification, your profile, authentication records, and historical GPS traces will be permanently deleted from our primary databases within 30 days, except where retention is legally required for commercial freight audits or regulatory compliance.

9. Children's Privacy

Trucker'sCall is a commercial enterprise application designed exclusively for commercial drivers and logistics professionals. Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
